ART. I

Oggetto dell'attività

  1. Estrazione dati. Contratti, atti, visure e sentenze vengono letti e trasformati in schede strutturate: parti, importi, date, clausole rilevanti.

  2. Scadenzario.

ART. VII

Domande frequenti

Dobbiamo cambiare gestionale o abitudini?

Sui server dello studio oppure su infrastruttura cloud situata nell'Unione europea, a scelta dello studio.

ART. VIII

Giuseppe Zaccaro, fondatore · Milano

In a firm of eight to thirty professionals, by our estimate, around 69 hours a week go into copying data, searching for documents and checking deadlines. The work is necessary, but it does not require a lawyer.

Every firm is different. Measuring it is what the Audit is for.
ART. I

Scope of practice

  1. Data extraction. Contracts, pleadings, company records and judgments are read and turned into structured records: parties, amounts, dates, key clauses.

  2. Docketing. Payment dates, notice periods and procedural deadlines are calculated from the documents and placed on the calendar well in advance.

  3. First drafts. Letters, demand letters and routine filings are prepared from the firm's own templates, ready for review and signature.

  4. Email intake. Incoming messages, including Italian certified email (PEC), are classified and routed to the right matter and the right lawyer.

Our systems connect to the practice management software, email and document storage the firm already uses. Nobody has to switch tools.

ART. II

Method, by example

A document comes in, is read, its data is checked, and the record goes to a lawyer for approval. If a check fails, the record stops and goes back for review.

Fictional contract. The notice date is not written in the text: the system derives it from the term and the notice period. Entering a record like this by hand takes about twelve minutes.

ART. III

Technology

  1. Models. Documents are read by enterprise-grade language models, accessed by API under commercial terms that exclude training on client data.

  2. Orchestration. Workflows run on n8n, an open platform that can be installed on the firm's own servers or on cloud infrastructure located in the European Union.

  3. Checks. Every extracted value is verified by deterministic rules (dates, amounts, tax and VAT numbers) before it reaches a lawyer.

  4. Audit trail. Every operation is logged: what came in, what went out, who approved it and how much time was saved.

ART. IV

The Audit

  1. In a one-hour session we map the firm's repetitive work and the documents behind it.

  2. We run the system on the firm's own documents, anonymised, and measure the time actually saved.

  3. Within five working days the firm receives a written report: hours recoverable, workflows to automate, and costs.

€490

plus VAT. If we find fewer than ten recoverable hours a week, the fee is refunded. If the project starts within thirty days, the fee is credited against it.

ART. V

Performance guarantee

  1. If, within ninety days of go-live, the system does not save the firm at least fifteen hours a week, as measured by the audit trail, the monthly fee is suspended until it does.

  2. The guarantee covers time saved. It never covers the outcome of any matter, negotiation or proceeding.

ART. VI

Confidentiality and professional ethics

  1. No document leaves the firm without a lawyer's approval.

  2. Iustitia AI acts as data processor under Article 28 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, under a written agreement.

  3. Client documents are never used to train AI models.

  4. Our systems are designed to comply with the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689) and with lawyers' duty of confidentiality under the Italian Code of Professional Conduct.

  5. For firms in the United States, the same safeguards map to ABA Model Rule 1.6 and ABA Formal Opinion 512 on generative AI.

ART. VII

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to change our software or habits?

No. Our systems connect to the practice management software, email and document storage you already use. Lawyers keep working as before, with fewer manual tasks.

Where are documents stored?

On the firm's own servers or on cloud infrastructure located in the European Union, as the firm prefers. Documents are never used to train models.

Can the AI make mistakes?

Yes, which is why every value goes through automatic checks and a lawyer's approval. When confidence is below the threshold, the record goes back for review instead of moving on.

What does a project cost?

A typical project is €8,000 to set up and €2,000 a month for operation and maintenance, plus VAT. The exact figure for your firm is set out in the Audit report.

Do you work with firms outside Italy?

Yes. We work in English and Italian, and adapt our systems to the professional and data protection rules of the firm's jurisdiction.

ART. VIII
